PARADISE VALLEY
Centrally located within the greater Phoenix area, Paradise Valley is the home of many of the areas most affluent homeowners who are drawn its the majestic beauty, secluded luxury communities, neighborhoods, and conveniences including some of the best golf communities and restaurants in the city.
PROS: Large 1+ acre lots, central proximity, scenery & mountains
CONS: Relatively expensive homes, some requiring renovations

ARCADIA
Centrally located within the greater Phoenix area, Arcadia is a smaller community that is best known for lush green lawns, lavish foliage, excellent schools, and historic homes.
PROS: Upscale urban feel, historic updated homes, good schools, lush lawns and foliage, family-friendly neighborhoods, close proximity to great restaurants and shopping
CONS: Relatively expensive homes, smaller lot sizes, limited inventory of homes
PRICE RANGE: $1M-$5M+
SOUTH SCOTTSDALE
Conveniently located with easy access to the 101, nightlife, restaurants, and world-class shopping, South Scottsdale has family-friendly communities with more affordable housing options. Popular areas in South Scottsdale include McCormick Ranch, Gainey Ranch, and Old Town Scottsdale.
PROS: More affordable housing, proximity to luxury shopping, restaurants, and nightlife.
CONS: Smaller lot sizes, many ranch-style dated homes, proximity to commercial activity.
PRICE RANGE: $500k-$2M+
NORTH SCOTTSDALE
Located just North and South of the northeast corner of the 101, North Scottsdale begins on the southern areas around Kierland and goes North all the way up to Cave Creek. In this area you will find many popular communities such as McDowell Mountain Ranch, DC Ranch, Silver Leaf, Gray Hawk, Pinnacle Peak, Troon, Desert Ridge, Whisper Rock, and Desert Mountain. These communities include a mixture of family-friendly communities, retirees, golf enthusiasts, and people who enjoy a more suburban and seasonal lifestyle.
PROS: More affordable housing, more rural desert surroundings, an abundance of golf communities, and more quiet surroundings
CONS: Further driving distances to many popular dining and shopping options and the PHX airport, more seasonal neighbors (snowbirds), quiet living
